Jorge Javier Vázquez announced Tuesday that GH VIP will return to Telecinco during a commercial break of Supervivientes All Stars. The ninth edition of the celebrity version of Gran Hermano will air soon, though no specific date was provided.
To make the announcement, Vázquez invited four former participants to stand beside him on set: Chayo Mohedano, Isa Pantoja, Tony Spina, and Dámaso Angulo. The presenter told them, "You all have something in common," before revealing that connection was their participation in both Gran Hermano and its VIP version.
"Gran Hermano returns, GH VIP returns!" Vázquez announced. He then reviewed some of the notable moments involving those present during their time in the house. Among them were the romance between Chayo Mohedano and athlete Adans Peres during the second edition, the relationship between Tony Spina and Makoke, and Isa Pantoja's meeting with her husband, Asraf Beno.
The return marks the show's comeback nearly three years after its previous edition. Telecinco currently has Supervivientes All Stars and La isla de las tentaciones in its programming schedule. The network has not announced a premiere date for the new season of GH VIP, only confirming that it will arrive soon.
