Eros Ramazzotti and Alicia Keys have been announced as special guests for Thursday's performance at the Sanremo Music Festival 2026, according to an announcement made on the TG1 evening news on February 12.

The two artists will perform "La Aurora," a song sung entirely in Spanish and presented as a remake of Ramazzotti's original composition. The performance is scheduled for the festival's third night on February 26.

Ramazzotti's appearance at Sanremo 2026 marks another chapter in his long association with the festival. The Roman singer won the Nuove Proposte category in 1984 with "Terra Promessa" and claimed victory in the Campioni category two years later with "Adesso Tu." He has performed at the Ariston stage multiple times over the decades, including a 2019 appearance celebrating 35 years of his career, a 2023 cover performance alongside Ultimo, and a 2024 performance commemorating the 40th anniversary of "Terra Promessa."

Ramazzotti joins other previously announced special guests for the festival, which runs from February 24 to 28. Tiziano Ferro is scheduled to perform during the opening night, while Virginia Raffaele and Fabio De Luigi will appear to promote their film "Un bel giorno," set for theatrical release on March 5.

The collaboration between Ramazzotti and Keys comes after the two artists have previously worked together. The announcement of Keys as Ramazzotti's duet partner resolves speculation that had circulated in Italian media in the days leading up to the official confirmation, with various outlets reporting on the possibility of an international artist joining the Italian singer on stage.
