Israel has launched renewed strikes on southern Lebanon while continuing a ground invasion, and has also struck areas around Beirut that had previously been largely removed from the conflict.
At least four people were killed in a raid that hit a car in the southern town of Kfar Rumman, according to the Lebanese Civil Defence. An Israeli drone struck near Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, killing one person and injuring another, local media reported.

On Sunday, Lebanon's health ministry said that 39 people had died as a result of the war, with most killed in Israeli airstrikes. More than 20 of those killed on Sunday were in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, areas that have experienced heavy Israeli bombardment over the past month. Five people were killed in Jnah, a residential and commercial neighborhood in the Dahiya area in southern Beirut.
