President Trump on Thursday assailed Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones in a blistering Truth Social post, attacking the four conservative media figures who have criticized his Iran war policy.
In a 482-word post, Trump described the group as "NUT JOBS" and "losers" who will say anything for attention. He claimed all four have been "fighting" him for years and accused them of opposing his stance on Iran.
"I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs," Trump wrote.
Trump continued his assault with personal insults. "They're stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too!" he stated. "Look at their past, look at their record. They don't have what it takes, and they never did!"
The president reserved some of his sharpest attacks for Owens and Jones, describing them as conspiracy-minded conservatives who in recent days have called for his removal from office. Trump had faced weeks of criticism from all four media figures but had largely ignored them until Thursday.
Trump leveled specific criticisms at each figure. He called Carlson a "broken man" post-Fox who "couldn't even finish college." He described Kelly as "nasty" for asking him a question he characterized as the infamous "Only Rosie O'Donnell" question. Trump called Owens "crazy" for what he described as conspiracy claims about Brigitte Macron. He characterized Jones as "bankrupt" following his Sandy Hook defamation case.
Trump also claimed the four have been booted from major platforms and are now relying on what he called "third-rate podcasts" to maintain relevance. He suggested mainstream outlets like CNN have distanced themselves from the group.
